Seagrass processing |

| After being harvested and dried, the seagrass is spun into yarn
suitable for weaving. Its incredibly hard to dye by conventional techniques
so most products come in the original natural colour. As a natural
material there are inconsistencies in colour and, occasionally, in
the spinning and weaving but they tend to add rather than detract
from its overall charm and effect.
